Thirst

On the plane I sprinted to make

I asked the flight attendant

For a glass of cold water

Knowing it would be a paper cup

But when one is thirsty one remembers

The best water one has ever drunk

But she told me, "It's not a priority"

I refuse to ever be an unruly passenger

But oh how I wanted to

Say to her that thirst is always

A priority even Christ
