The Whistleblower
Here is one blowing a whistle
In the corporate wilderness.
When they find him dead, they find
His whistle on the ground.
Blow it off, pocket it.
Some time later, on their way
To, say, Portland, passengers are instead
Sucked out of the cabin
And into the indifferent engine
With its lamprey-like mouth.
Exactly what he was
Blowing on about.
