Eclipse
Eclipse
I saw one once.
This was in Idaho.
Men were cutting
Wheat in the valley
Between me
And the toothy Tetons.
They didn’t stop
To watch the sun
Their lives
Depended on
Disappear.
The only sign
They knew
What was going on —
When they turned
The lights of their combines on.
