Absurdity
Absurdity
The Dutch government collapses overnight.
Migrants scribble over the Pantheon
With the green lazar pointers they’re selling.
Somewhere someone has a piercing migraine.
An iceberg calves off of the Brunt Ice Shelf.
An old woman who’s been considering
Suicide looks down from her balcony.
A rose that seemed late opening opens.
The new director of the museum
Asks to see the old budget. In cafes
Where the uneaten bread is served again
And the wine relabeled to trick rich men,
American girls be like, “Like, yeah.”
Someone calls someone. Someone else answers.
